This afternoon we feature this lovely and fun wedding of Kris and Amy who got married in the beautiful Siena countryside. Their day was captured by Tuscany based wedding photographer Livio Lacurre.

The Day
The ceremony was in Siena Municipality and at the end there was an aperitivo at Piazza del Campo.
Later, the dinner party was held in Agriturismo Bosco alla Spina, in Murlo, in the middle of the amazing Siena countryside.

Kris and Amy are a gourgeous couple. They have had an unconventional wedding and it was easy to enter the day’s atmosphere and cool spirit.

The Photographer
I live with my wife and my two wonderful children in Arezzo, between Florence and Siena, in the heart of the magical Tuscany, land of passion, art and culture. My works reflect all of this.

My style is creative and captured in reportage style.

My way of working is not reproducibile, I have my own vision of the event day and I have my interpretation. My couples know that I do not do “wedding photographs”, I do photos at weddings, with my unique style and vision.
Every wedding is a challenge for me, because I need to find the key of the wedding tale in the very short time that I have. For this reason I prefer to go and meet the couples in advance, because you photograph only what you know already, this is the key of reportage, that is completely different from candid photography. In the candid photography you shoot around what happens at the same time it happens ( the most candid moments). In the reportage the preparation is at the base of the tale. The most important things are the reading key and the the knowledge of the event, of timing, of planning, of key people, of their charachterial aspects… It Is the study of ceremony, of the different cultures. My shootings are the natural consequence of all this.
