Wood Farm, Everdon Wedding

We share the wedding day of Mr and Mrs Lee who got married at Wood Farm in Everdon, their day was captured by Darren of Reality Photography.

Tell us About the Couple

Family is hugely important to this couple, with three young children running around, things are never quiet! Adjacent to their beautiful family lies a big layer of romance, which can be witnesses in the moments throughout their day when they couldn’t stop smiling. They’re well loved by those around them and rightly so, they’re such loveable couple.

Tell us a little about the day and how it went

The couple chose Wood Farm, Everdon. They were to be the venues first ever wedding. The couple describe the venue as ‘Fantastic venue, so beautiful with a lot of character. The views are amazing. It’s tucked away in the country side yet not to far away from a town. The grounds around it breathtaking and inside the venue is perfect. I couldn’t have wished for a prettier place to be married in.’
The day was very relaxed until around 9pm when the tequila came out and the dance floor filled up!

Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m a Northamptonshire based wedding photographer. Wedding’s are my life and I don’t think there’s a better job out there! Being able to provide couples with photography that they’ll keep looking back at forever and making their memories a tangible emotion is the best feeling. I’m very laidback and I love creating work for couples that goes above and beyond what they expected from their day. I stay late into the night as I love that side of the story too; the madness, the fun, the love and the partying!

Describe your photography style

Laidback and creative with a emphasis on documentary and beautiful couple moments.

What did you love about the day

Where to start, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the location and was like a kid in a chocolate factory when it came to finding perfect spots. The venue (being brand new,) was pristine and the rolling views of the countryside provided gorgeous backdrops. I loved seeing the couple stop being ‘Mum and Dad’ for a few hours and be ‘Mr and Mrs’, they couldn’t have looked more in love

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day

Write and list of everything you want at your wedding, from the essentials to the luxuries. Write the list in order then book/buy them accordingly to avoid disappointment. 90% of bridal prep get’s super rushed in the hour or so before the ceremony… no matter how organised you are in your daily life, so be prepared! The ceremony itself seems to fly by in the blink of an eye so take your time and don’t drink too much prosecco in the morning 😉
