Steven and Fiona’s Errol Park Wedding

We share the wedding of Steven and Fiona who got married at Errol Park. Their special day was captured by Chic Photo by Jacqui Paterson.

The Couple and the Day

Steven and I met at Stirling University in 2010. He proposed when we were travelling South East Asia six years later and in April 2018 we became Husband and Wife.

Steven and I had the best day ever !!! We got married at the amazing Errol Park in Perthshire, Scotland.

We wanted our day to be about celebrating our love for each other and we wanted to share our day with our closest friends and family.

We were very lucky enough that it was dry which allowed us to have our humanist ceremony outside. It was made even more special with the sun peeking through the clouds as I walked down the aisle.

We really wanted our wedding to centre around family and our venue allowed this to happen, instead of being one day we made a weekend of it. This meant we got to spend time with family prior too our special day and then have celebrations after our special day at Errol Park. I also loved the gardens at the venue where we were able to get amazing photos which captured our day perfectly.

My Advice:

Enjoy it !!! You have spent years planning it. Don’t worry about the small hiccups (nobody notices!) it’s your day – spend it celebrating, having fun and dancing !

I remember before our wedding day everyone told me how quick time would go and if I blinked I would miss it. So everytime we got to a new part of the day I would stand still for a moment, look around and take everything in, it made us appreciate how lucky we were to have such a special day spent with amazing friends and family members.

The Photographer

I have been photographing weddings for 8 years. Each wedding is unique and looked at with fresh eyes and ideas. I would describe my style as natural and candid, just capturing the moments at the happen throughout the day. I pride myself on being unobtrusive and organising all the details with the couple beforehand so that they can have a relaxing and fun time.
