We feature Sarah & Mark’s Dewsall Court Wedding in Hereford that took place on 10th October 2015. Their special day was captured by Natalie Martin of Story of Love Wedding Photography.
I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Mark & Sarah in October this year, the couple booked me after I photographed Mark’s brother Gary’s wedding in Settle, Yorkshire in 2014.
Sarah and I met at her 21st birthday party which I was invited to by her older Sister wearing some tasty corduroy pants I might add! These didn’t seem to go down well with Sarah so the next time we met was on a fancy dress night out and on this occasion I was again dressed to impress as Batman! My dress sense was a sure hit and I managed to get a first date. Four years on and we moved in together and somehow in the next 4 years she tricked me into marriage!
We are northerners but both fancied getting married somewhere we could relax over the full weekend to enjoy time with family and friends. The chosen destination was Hereford found by Sarah and on our first visit knew we had found the perfect venue. Weekend celebrations started early on Friday evening for pre drinks with guests invited by a Willie Wonka golden ticket they found in a chocolate bar. Friends and family re-joined us on Saturday at the estates private chapel gathering to greet Sarah as she walked down the aisle looking stunning. Canapés followed in the house and the breakfast/party in the barn was accompanied with some great speeches, live music, fire pits outside and closed with sparklers being waved by all. I don’t think we could choose a favourite moment, it was just great to see how much everybody enjoyed the weekend and we couldn’t have experienced a better wedding day. This was all topped off by a three week adventure trip to New Zealand straight from the venue, which really was ‘the icing on the cake’.
I am Natalie and started Story of Love Wedding Photography five years ago in the Bonnie Scottish Borders. I love everything about weddings and feel so lucky to be the one to capture these memories for my couples to love and cherish forever more. When I’m not viewing the world through my lens I love spending time with my friends and family and being mummy to beautiful Alice.
