Stunning Sailing Yacht Wedding Ceremony

We are so excited to share this beautiful wedding captured by MMW Studio. The couple Dagmara and Maciek did things a little differently and decided to have their ceremony on a ship! We love it!

The Couple
We met the bride some time before the wedding. She told us about all the details planned for the Big Day, and we knew that there will be a huge surprise for the groom. We were very much looking forward to shooting the wedding of Dagmara and Maciek. They were both born and raised in a port town of Gdynia and decided to include their passion and heritage during their big day, getting married on famous Polish sailing ship “Dar Pomorza”

The Day
The ceremony was to take place on the board of sailing ship in Poland and be full of maritime details. The surprise was that bride decided to wear… trousers! And these were paired with a matching sailor’s hat! You should see the reaction of groom and the family when they saw the outfit of the future bride.

The day was full of attractions and was planned to the minute details. The newly weds arrived on a motorboat to be greeted by the yacht captain.

The wedding turned out wonderful and both the bride and the groom looked stunning. And the details were stunning as well.

The Photographer
We are the couple, marriage, destination award winning wedding photographers based in Birmingham, UK. We lived in Beligum and Poland previously and worked across whole Europe.

How would you describe your photography style?
It’s a photo-journalistic style with a bit of fine-art, glamour, portrait photography. We are focused on what was actually happening on the Big Day, rather than cataloguing the guests.

What did you love about the day?
Honestly, everything – every minute and every detail. But the beautiful bride in trousers and marine hat was just impossible not to remember.
