Proud Momma

Photo by Jasmin & Matt Photography / Jasmin Pichlyk – Laura’s mom was helping Laura get into her wedding dress, and they had such lovely, candid moments that were too precious to pass up photographing.

Looking at her

Photo by Nabis photographers/ Chiara Ridolfi – Jolene is a Chinese bride that chose to get married in Italy, precisely in Villa Miani, a magnificent Villa overlooking Rome. She got ready inside one of the beautiful suite of the Villa only with their parents. Her father helped her in the last final part of the preparations and when he saw her ready with her stunning dress I could see a very happy father. He was looking at her ecstatically.

The dress

Photo by Nabis photographers/Chiara Ridolfi – Flavia is an Italian bride that got married in a beautiful castle located in Rome, the Castle of Bracciano. She got ready there, in a characteristic room above the court with the help of her lovely bridesmaids. As she starting wearing her dress her eyes changed, she was stunning with that important tail of her wedding dress. All the girls were looking at her and I shot.

Drunk Granny

Photo by Andy Davison Photograpy – Returning from evening portraits with the bride and groom, I was drawn to a corner of the room where a group were gathered and making a lot of noise at the bar. On arriving, the bride’s grandmother was preparing to do a ‘shot’. It was a grabbed moment as she downed the drink surrounded by astounded family and friends. It captures so much of the personality of this lovely lady, the guests and this wedding in general. I was at the bar capturing this when the PA system demanded the photographer join the couple at the cake for its cutting. It was worth being late!

Lauren + Alex | Rowton Castle

Photo by Andy Li Photography – This moment was captured during Lauren & Alex’s wedding at Rowton Castle (near Shrewsbury, Shropshire) on a beautiful spring day. Here they are in the sunshine, spending a quiet moment away from their guests just before the start of the wedding breakfast.

Real Moments Collection

The first look

Photo by Sarah Williams Photography – This photo was taken at the lovely Farbridge in Sussex during what is always one of my favourite parts of a wedding day. This was the moment Mandy’s Dad saw her in her dress for the first time and this did create quite a few tears. I love capturing moments like this as they happen and always feel so lucky to be present at such a special time.

Real Moments Collection

Hurray we did it!

Photo by Alexa Poppe Wedding Photography – Lynsey and Ricky had a small wedding at Lowerbarns with a civil ceremony outside. Th whole crew was such a fun bunch to work with, super relaxed and laid back. This is just before they walked down the aisle together as husband and wife, a precious moment!

Real Moments Collection

A quiet moment

Photo by Erika Rimkute Photography – I love to capture these intimate moments between newlyweds, usually just after the ceremony, where they can soak in all emotions and express their feeling to each other without being shy.

Real Moments Collection

Freeze The Moment

Photo by Alessandro Della Savia – A wonderful destination wedding at the luxury venue Villa Parravicini for this Persian couple, Shahram & Samin, coming from Phoenix for their Persian wedding on Lake Como with their family and friends having fun and celebrating all together.

Real Moments Collection

Celebration of Love

Photo by My Love Momentz Photography / Ivan Lim – This photo was taken during the March out of the Garden Wedding after the Bride and Groom is pronounced Husband & wife. Indeed the happiest moment of their life.

Real Moments Collection

No drink please!!

Photo by Simone Miglietta Photography – I love to catch intimate and very emotional moments, but also a lot of funny moments!
From a wedding in Tuscany.

Emotion

Photo by Liz Greenhalgh Photography – Hannah so desperately wanted to read her personal vows even through the tears of emotion.

Real Moments Collection

Happy tears

Photo by Joe Mallen Photography – Just a beautiful moment during their vows the groom wipes a tear away from the bride’s cheek.

Real Moments Collection

Crying Dad

Photo by Olly Knight Photography – Donna’s Dad got really emotional when he saw her in her wedding dress and as he started to cry Donna wiped his tears with her hands. It was such an emotional moment even I was crying a bit!

Real Moments Collection

Father & Daughter

Photo by Capture Every Moment – Lasbourough Church is situated in a beautiful Cotswold valley and was where Vicky and Dan decided to get married. This moment captured was between Father & Daughter, they were waiting to walk down the aisle, it was a quiet moment shared between them as bridesmaids gathered behind and the guests patiently awaited the arrival of the Bride.

Real Moments Collection

The Hand Kiss

Photo by Hannah Mia Photography / Hannah Mia Attewell – During some very emotional speeches, the groom comforts the bride with a kiss on the hand.

Real Moments Collection

Nan

Photo by Defining Moments Photography | Caan Segeren-Doherty – ‘Nan’ is an image which perfectly captures a nan’s love and happiness for her granddaughter, expressed in a heart-felt hug. It freezes a moment in time and creates a life-long memory of a feeling that would otherwise be lost forever.

Real Moments Collection

Nero & His Family

Photo by Vonlè Art – This was the lovely wedding day of Radina & Viktor which took place end of June, 2018 in Medovo village, Bulgaria. As we do love telling the story of a wedding, not directing it, we have captured this beautiful moment just in the beginning of the photo session. Nero is a smiling dog with a big heart; he could not just stand still and restrain from kissing the bride.

Real Moments Collection

The toast

Photo by Stefano Ferrier – A really nice scene setting photo of a toast, this image is filled with natural joy,
I love the intimate light that has come about here.
Shot at Villa Giavazzi, Bergamo, Italy.

Real Moments Collection

The first look

Photo by Sam & Louise – People think having two photographers is all about prep. For us, it isn’t. It’s about moments like this. Being able to capture not just the bride or grooms entrance, but also their partners face when they turn to see them for the first time is magic. This is Chris seeing Katie for the first time as she walks down the aisle.

Real Moments Collection

Emotions in couple

Photo by Alvaro Sancha – It was a hard time when they talked about people who had died.

Real Moments Collection

A Moment Alone

Photo by Jason Williams Photography – This was taken after a ceremony at Burgh House up in Hampstead. We all adjourned to the lovely Flask pub just up the road. I shot this from inside the pub as the couple were sharing a moment. It isn’t particularly sharp, there may even be a little movement in there, but something about this image really resonates with intimacy, romance and a privately shared moment of love. It is just about my favourite image from last summer, and also says a great deal about my approach to photography in general and wedding photography in particular.

When your mum says something totally awks in her speech

Photo by Sam Gibson Photography – This cracks me up every time. Sam and Gemma’s facial expressions are pure gold. They’re listening to her mum’s speech and she’s just embarrassed them both – these are the little real moments I love at weddings. Their summer wedding at Merriscourt Barns was beautiful but this is definitely one of images that stands out for me.

Real Moments Collection

The kisses of my father

Photo by Ariel Robledo Photography – She is Cami, he is her father! and after the ceremony, they just looked at each other, and without saying words, he kissed her tenderly! The feelings of a father at his daughter’s wedding are indescribable, but moments like this can describe how they feel! Lovely!

Real Moments Collection

The Accidental Photobomb

Photo by Nisha Haq Photography – Whilst taking beautiful romantic bride and groom portraits, one of the guests coming from the bar didn’t realise we were taking couple portraits at the front of the house. He ran swiftly past pulling the best facial expression whilst realising he accidentally photobombed the bride and groom!

Real Moments Collection

Magic Moment

Photo by Luca Caparrelli Photography – The photo is taken in the centre of Rome. I use backlight to take a wonderful shoot.

Real Moments Collection

Rolling Back the Doors

Photo by Tony Hart Photo – Once the guests were all seated for the Wedding Breakfast at Longbourn Barn, the groomsmen rolled back the big doors, Anna & Al made their entrance and the crowd went wild!

Real Moments Collection

Emotions over run

Photo by Joab Smith Photography – Micky’s a comedian and as a result the day was mostly laughs and smiles, but this moment during the ceremony got both him and Katy. I’m not sure I’ve seen both bride and groom crying at the same time before!

Real Moments Collection

Best friends

Photo by Eneka Stewart Photography – The bride was greeted by her Hungarian Vizsla with a lot of energy and joy after the ceremony. She had the biggest smile on her face and it was one of the highlights of her day.

Real Moments Collection

Grooms Tears

Photo by Tansley Photography – Paul Tansley – Kayleigh & Toby’s wedding at Froyle Park, Hampshire. Toby was one of the most emotional grooms I’ve ever met. I love a guy who is in touch with his emotions and isn’t afraid to show it. He cried all the way through the wedding ceremony. Clearly all of his family and friends knew he would. So, at the start of his grooms speech, he got some props out. A pair of swimming goggles and a toilet roll hung around his neck – which he then wrapped around his head – to catch all the tears that were about to happen. It was hilarious. I was laughing all the way through his speech, while trying to capture as many different moments as possible. This is one of my favourites, showing Kayleigh’s eyes, full of surprise, while he sets himself up.

Congratulations!

Photo by Andy Sidders Photography – I love the bride’s reaction as she is congratulated by her friend after her wedding ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Birchanger.

Real Moments Collection

Please don’t bark

Photo by Duncan McCall Photography – This is Charlie the bride and grooms cockapoo dog who was at the entire wedding. When I first walked into the church before the bride arrived Charlie barked everytime I lifted the camera. After a while he got used to me but kept an eye on me. I was at the back of the church and I noticed him watching me, took a risk and snapped this photo, thankfully he never barked!

Brides Daughter “I don’t want to wear this dress!”

Photo by Tansley Photography – Paul Tansley – Taken during bridal preps at Great Fosters Hotel, Egham Surrey. Ellie & James told me before the wedding that their daughter Connie, really didn’t want to wear her bridesmaid dress. She was a bit of a tomboy. It was helpful that I knew this beforehand. So that when I saw her bury her head in the sofa, as Ellie’s final touches were being done, I couldn’t resist capturing the moment.

Real Moments Collection

Granny

Photo by Paul Fletcher Photography – It was that time for a handful of group shots at Farbridge Barn in West Sussex and I was looking for something special for the shot of Granny. Rather than a group shot, I suggested they just both crouch down and give her a kiss on each cheek, which resulted in this beautiful moment. Granny was 95 at the time and sadly passed away a few months later, so this has become a very important image to help keep the memory of her fresh!

Real Moments Collection

Kissing cousins

Photo by Dale Weeks Photography – I can’t remember if I’m getting this 100% right or not – but these cousins came over from Norway in the Bride’s own knitted clothing – they got on really well and were good as gold.
After dinner as everyone was winding down outside playing games of table tennis etc I caught the two of them sat on the step to the back of the venue!

Real Moments Collection

Mummys hand

Photo by Duncan McCall – I loved capturing this moment when the bride reached the end of the aisle her daughter who was at the front waiting grabbed her hand. Such a beautiful moment.
