I love an engagement shoot and today we feature Louise and BJ who went into London and were captured by wedding photographer Minna Rossi.
Do tell us about the couple:
Louise and BJ are a really nice English-Canadian couple, who just have a really great vibe about them -they seem relaxed in each others company and very much in love, which made my job very easy!
Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went:
It was an absolutely freezing February afternoon, but the couple were real troopers bearing the cold and strong wind by the Thames! We stopped for coffee and tea a few times along the way to keep going. Their style was quite classic so I wanted this to come out in the images, but also include pops of strong colour.
Do tell us a little bit about yourself:
I’m a London based female photographer shooting weddings, portraits and events.
How would you describe your photography style:
The style of my wedding photography is very natural and relaxed: from the way people are posed to the lighting and the “look” the files are given in post processing. Couples often tell me they felt I worked in a very friendly, flexible and down to earth manner on their day, which is great -and I’m happy to take any requests, even if it is thrown in to the mix last minute on the day 🙂
What did you love about the day:
I love doing couple’s portrait shoots, because it gives me the time and focus to just concentrate on the couple and the energy between them. Weddings can be hectic occasions that can start running late so your time with a couple can become a bit tight, whereas with shoots like this we can walk around and have a look at the light and backgrounds and have a bit of fun.
