Hi Lee, so firstly how long have you been photographing weddings for and how did you get into it?
I have been photographing weddings from 2013, I graduated from university in July 2013 and began looking at Editorial and Advertising Photography. In November 2013 I was asked to photograph a wedding for a friend, I loved the experience and it changed my focus to photography. I have a few weddings under my belt, I look forward to many more.

What do you particularly like about photographing weddings?
Being right in the middle of the wedding. Capturing all the action and meeting the couple, along with their close family and friends. Handing over a true record of the day is very satisfying.

How would you describe your style and approach?
I approach my weddings in a natural, creative way. I like to get close and always be around to capture all the fine details. Being able to use lighting in creative manner is something I pride myself on.

What advice would you give to couples looking for a wedding photographer?
Choose your photographer based on what your heart says, the images must grab your attention. It is also important to like your photographer, will they make you feel comfortable and at ease. Meeting up with the couple is important to me, getting to know each other. An engagement shoot is a great opportunity to get use to the camera and get to know your photographer.

What tips would you share with couples to help their day go more smoothly?
Have fun! Remember your wedding day should be full of lovely moments. One thing, don’t worry about your photography.

Finally… Whats the best moment you’ve had as a wedding photographer?
My best moment would have to be seeing the bride in an orange feather dress and having the wedding featured on Braw Brides Wedding Blog. I want my passion for wedding photography to grow and grow.
