A special bond

Upwaltham Barns have the most beautiful getting ready area and I always like to bring the dads up to see their daughters and the various reactions that this brings. This was a particularly special moment to capture which really shows the closeness of Louisa and her dad. In this situation you never know what the reaction is going to be, but this photo is a special one that now means a lot to me and it was an honour to be there to capture it for Louisa and her dad.

Hello Mom!

Jess married Ed in a double ceremonied day in Sheffield this year – UK registrar lead and a Pagan ceremony. Her step-dad Matt couldn’t have been more proud of her, and more privileged to welcome Ed to the family.
This was the most giving and inclusive wedding I’ve probably ever been to, and the unreserved emotion is clear when the bride is seen for the first time. Lush.

Brandon and Sophee

They stayed in a little cottage and just before we set off for the ceremony location Sophee came out to see Brandon for the first time in her wedding gown. He was totally overcome with emotion. I loved this moment.

Rebecca & Josh not wanting to see each other before the ceremony

Photo by S2 Images – This is a different take on a first look. Rebecca & Josh wanted to speak to each other before the ceremony, but didn’t actually want to see each other. Rebecca was in tears as she held hands with the man she was to marry in just a few minutes. It was so beautiful to witness such a unique moment.
