Louise and Craig booked us before they secured their venue which was probably the best compliment and display of trust in our work! We were so incredibly humbled. They were such a joy to be with and it truly was an honour to photograph their day!

Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went

The day was absolutely beautiful, dry and crisp! It was very cold but to be honest you would have never known. The ceremony took place in the beautiful abbey which is in ruins so technically it was outside. Louise and Craig and their family and friends embraced it despite the cold. I loved how the venue provided them all with blankets and hot water bottles! Such a nice touch!

Do tell us a little bit about yourself

We are a husband and wife team. We absolutely adore capturing light in our photos and being a part of what is the most amazing day in a couples life.
Besides us being an awesome team professionally we are an awesome parent team! We absolutely love our family life and feel so lucky for what we have.

How would you describe your photography style? I would describe our style to be light, airy and romantic. Our photos are very natural and have a fine art feel to them.

What did you love about the day?

The happiness and how even though it was freezing outside it wasn’t even an issue! That kicks butt in my eyes. You only have the one day! go for it despite the weather.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day?

Go with your gut feeling. If you fall in love with a supplier find the budget for it, you won’t regret it!

Advice by the couple for other couples

Everyone told us that our wedding day would go by so fast and it really is so true. Therefore we would say to other couples take some time for just the two of you at one point during your day, just to spend a quality moment with each other. Soak in every moment of your day from getting ready to the final dance.

The Gibsons are the best photographers! Their work is amazing and everyone who has viewed our wedding photos absolutely loves their work. As people, Chantal and Scott are so lovely – from the first email to being with them on our wedding day. It made it so easy to work with people who will go out of their way to get amazing photos for you and who are also so easy to talk to, they are just lovely people! From their portfolio of work we chose them as our photographers before we had even chosen our wedding venue and we also moved our wedding date just to match their availability and we do not regret any of this, as we have the most beautiful wedding photos.
