Catalin & Daniel’s Summer Wedding
We share the wedding of Catalin and Daniel who got married in the Summer at the Crown Hotel in Harrogate. The wedding was captured by Lloyd-Clarke Wedding Photography.
A little bit about the day and how it went
Catalin & Daniel’s summer wedding was at the beautiful Crown Hotel in Harrogate, The Bridal party got ready in the hotel rooms and after the wedding ceremony that took place in the hotel the couple did something not many of our couples do and went off to another location for some Bride & Groom portrait.
They did this because they really loved the woods surrounding Harrogate, and actually so do we, its our favourite spot! After a quick forest walk and some beautiful shots we headed back to join the drinks reception. After the wedding breakfast in the evening had some family photos in the Valley Gardens.
Do tell us a little bit about yourself
Lloyd-Clarke Wedding Photography is the seamless team of Bethany Clarke & Matthew Lloyd. Having both enjoyed successful careers as photojournalist we are now based in Yorkshire and specialise in beautifully candid Wedding Photography.
We have been full time professional photographers shooting weddings for 10 years an enjoy being invited into your special day and having the creative freedom to capture elegant and timeless images that tell your personal story. We are sensitive and discreet, quietly observing your wedding to capture a spontaneous and relaxed record of your wedding day.
How would you describe your photography style?
The majority of what we capture will be candid moments you’ll cherish forever, We both have an unobtrusive approach and blend into your day to be able to capture subtle interactions and tender moments that will transport you back to the day for years to come. We also love to capture some portraits but keep this quick and relaxed so you can enjoy it and not miss out on the party. We get lots of really lovely reviews about how discreet we we’re and people forgot we were even there!
What did you love about the day?
We loved going to the forest for portraits with Catalin & Daniel and also the lovely relaxed and friendly feel of the day. There was a beautiful variety of from the the old hotel, The forst and valley gardens are all fantastic backdrops for wedding photos !
What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day?
Try to enjoy your wedding planning. Remember it’s only one day as it will pass so quickly, having someone you can trust to capture all the special memories is a really valuable investment.
