Photo by Special Day Wedding Photos/Anthony – This photo was taken with Ann-Marie & Alex on National Trust Killerton Estate in rural Devon. We were coming to the end of a pre-wedding shoot when I spotted this conifer is a beautiful patch of light. The couple had to wade through some long grass and undergrowth to get to the spot but it was well worth it.

Mother & Daughter

Photo by Sam & Louise – The final few minutes leading up to a ceremony are some of my favourite during a wedding day. All of a sudden everything starts to feel real and this time is great for capturing heightened emotions. This moment between Carly and her mum is one of my favourites.

Leaping in the Alps

Photo by Ap-Art Photography / Pete – The photograph was taken at approximately 3000 metres above the sea level at the bottom of Matterhorn – the mighty giant covered in clouds. After a little trek, we reached one of the lakes and the rest is history.

Angus & Dee’s gorgeous coastal elopement wedding.

Photo by Liberty Pearl Photography/ Amber Leach The couple cancelled their big 150 guest wedding, to have a small, intimate, stress free elopement with just 9 close guests. Having such a small congregation meant that they could get married wherever they wanted, so secluded Ayrmer Cove which held lost of special memories for the couple was their choice.

Before a table was put in front of it we took the opportunity to snap this which has become one of my favourites as it’s more than a silhouette. The way they are in this photo shouts out Love even more than the sign does. This was taken at Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute

Single, hen, married – the wedding cycle

Photo by Rob Sanderson – I love to include the surrounding architecture and the public when faced with a city centre wedding. This, outside Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool was just one of those moments that was just too good to miss.

The Bride

Photo by Andreu Doz Photography – We went for a Post-weddding session to Siurana (near Barcelona), a very small village on top of a mountain. It was winter and on our way up we were covered by fog. We couldn’t see anything further than 3 meters away.
We thought that the session would be cancel, but to our surprise once we reach the village the clouds lay beneath us!
The weather conditions kept changing so it was a bit frustrating because an amazing light would come through the clouds but it wont last for long… We manage to take very dramatic photos and this picture is one of them.

We went down to the beach at Mawgan Porth to capture both their individual portraits as well as their couple shots. As you can see the tide was coming in so we didn’t have long on this busy beach but the shots we managed to capture were absolutely beautiful and they were totally worth getting my shoes soaking wet for….

Adri & Lee & The Guildhall

Nailing the first dance

This was shot was taken at Rosedew Farm in South Wales. The party was held in the barn and Sophie and Sam went all out with a pacticised and stylish number.

Back Seat Romance

Hannah & Adam, NYC

The magic of hairspray!

Photo by Sarah Williams Photography – I do love to capture the moment during getting ready when hairspray is being applied and even better when i have a source of light in the background. This is Helen on her wedding day in May 2017 having the final touched being applied before she made her way to Lord’s Cricket Ground for her ceremony.
Although this photos works nicely in colour too, there is something about the back and white tones that really make this moment pop and those little beads of hairspray stand out even more.

Grandma we love you!

The couple adore the bride’s grandma and it was really important to them that we made time for a shot with her. We got her chatting and then the bride planted a big kiss on her cheek and that was all that was needed for this beautiful moment!

Father of The Bride

Going on a groom hunt

Love on the moor

Photo by Matt Selby photography – Taken in the peak district, it was cold, wet and a mega challenge to get the bride and groom up a muddy and slippery hill in the rain. I wouldn’t normally desaturate a landscape photo but I wanted to try something different. I switched off my key light and opted for a mono silhouette using just a rim light camera left.

Farnham and the Veil

Photo by Tony Hart Photo – This image was the last frame of a short portrait session with Sophie & Matt on their wedding day at Farnham Castle in February. We’d pretty much wrapped up and on their way back to their guests they walked along this retaining wall at the bottom of the castle estate. The directional light and St Andrew’s Church laid out in the distance are set-off perfectly by Sophie’s amazing dress and her veil catching the wind. It’s an image of tonality, composition and texture and therefore simply had to be black and white.

The Ring

I was just hanging back and letting the moment happen naturally, when her lovely bridesmaids who were commenting on how wonderful the ceremony was all of a sudden they all just asked to see the ring on her finger for the first-time and I was lucky enough to be there to capture this wonderful personal cherished moment when she realised and shared her joy at being Steve’s wife.

Viv + Paul

Spotlight

Victoria & Paddy Countryside

Lartington is completely private and exclusive for you and your guests with 75 acres of romantic rolling parkland and fantastic garden terraces. It fitted Becky & Bruce’s style perfectly. We all enjoyed the fantastic food also supplied by the hall and partied the night away like never before!
