Since 2012 wedding photography has been my full-time job. I spent three years prior to this refining my style and building on my experience whilst I was a primary school teacher. I love my job, where it takes me and who I get to meet along the way.

I am committed to each and every wedding that I shoot and feel privileged to share in the celebrations of such a unique day. I am there to capture the stories within a story, the details, the emotions and the connections between people.

Being personable, approachable and discreet allows me to photograph real moments as they evolve without interfering. Being in tune with the flow and the energy of the day are all key to getting amazing images. This is a key part of how I capture the couples during the portrait shoot which I see as a time for you to hang out with your best friend, have fun and really connect, rather than simply posing for the camera.

I shoot with a natural, relaxed documentary style to capture the story of your day, letting things happen and allowing you to just enjoy your day.

I am really passionate about creating an experience based style when it comes to the couple portraiture (the complete opposite of posing and looking a certain way, I want you to FEEL these things for real!) this results in genuine, emotion filled images that have real value for the couple.

That every wedding is the start of a new chapter for two people. Their unique journey has gotten them to this point and their love story is played out for all to see and for me to photograph. It's pretty darn awesome to see the emotion, the action and the romance all thrown into one day's celebrations. I relish capturing these events as they unfold, and it never gets old.
