My couples are super relaxed, and the last thing they want is a photographer who takes over their wedding day and bosses them about. My wedding photography style is authentic, contemporary, and vibrant. I capture all the special fleeting moments and let you get on with having the best day. For me, the best bit about a wedding day is the ceremony, because it’s just so intimate and I love the emotion! I will also steal the two of you away for some portraits together; it’s a chance for you to have a breather and for me to get some lovely photos of you as beautiful newlyweds. Your wedding is all about marrying your best friend. You don’t care about fancy limos or worrying about the little things that don’t matter – you just want to have an amazing time with your favourite people and celebrate the start of this new chapter of your lives together. If this sounds like you, and you think I’d be a good fit for your wedding day, then get in touch!
To tell your story in the best way, I provide coverage from yourselves getting ready with your bridesmaids / groomsmen in the morning, right through to you letting loose and partying the night away as newlyweds with your friends and family! Throughout the day, you will (hopefully not) see me ninja-ing around capturing all the action as it happens. So you're free to enjoy your big day with each other and your lovely guests. Though I shoot most of the day documentary style, be sure that I will be whisking the two of you away for a few moments alone for some portraits (you can pretend I'm not there), while you bask in that freshly married (woo! we're married!) excitement. I'm not into heavily posed shots as I love natural chemistry, so I will just let you be yourselves with some slight direction to let your love shine through, as cheesy as that sounds.
I understand that every wedding is different and I absolutely love it when couples incorporate their own twists, stories and personalities into their celebrations. It's what makes your day unique and memorable to you that will make it a day you can both look back on, wishing you can do it all over again.
Find a photographer whose style you love, and also someone you get on well with as they'll be spending the whole day with you, so it's good to have a photographer your comfortable with and trust to capture your day. It's always a good idea to meet your photographer before the day, or at least skype if meeting is not an option, so you can discuss what you're after photography-wise and see if you're the right fit for each other. As they say, when you know - you just know!
