Richard has been lovely every step of the way from first agreeing to photograph our wedding, throughout the day itself, until now receiving some beautiful memories of the day.

We decided to hire Richard after meeting him and seeing his lovely pictures at my sisters wedding two years ago and he did not disappoint! He is one of the friendliest people we’ve met and put us very much at ease throughout our wedding day.

A COVID-19 wedding wasn’t exactly what we had planned, as with all 2020 couples, but Richard helped in every way he could during these uncertain times and it is amazing to have all his wonderful photos to share with our friends and family especially as so many of them were unable to be with us on our wedding day.

Richard's images drew me in, they showed emotion, not staged and I loved the documentary feel but with the images will being strong and fantastic. I loved that his edited pictures were not over worked and represented the day and style of my wedding.

We then met Richard before the wedding for a chat and he totally put us at ease. On the day he blended in and didn't distract us from the special moments we were experiencing. He was smart and professional, but still had looked like he was having fun with the guests which I think shows in the pictures he captured of people. He also took interest in our venues, I imagine to pre-plan and generate ideas for shots beforehand, and we got to see the preview pictures really quickly after the wedding.

When we first walked into our wedding venue at Lillibrooke Manor I knew it's where we would get married. When I first tried on my wedding dress I knew it was the perfect dress for me. When we first met Richard, we both knew he would be with us for our wedding journey.

His portfolio won me over initially but meeting him in real life sealed the deal. He has been instrumental in our wedding planning. Facts, tips, advice. He is one of the loveliest and most genuine humans I've ever met. I cannot recommend him enough.

Short version: I don't we could have found a better photographer if we'd tried. A charming man who's extremely talented behind a camera and will make you feel relaxed in front of it.

After looking online at many different wedding photographers, we were eventually recommended Richard by a friend. Looking at his portfolio we were immediately struck by the quality of his photos and got in contact. We had a quick skype call to discuss our date and plans where Richard invited us to come and meet him a the wedding fair held in the Excel Centre.

Meeting him in person my fiancé, Richard immediately made us feel relaxed about the upcoming event and we further discussed the different packages he had available. Both of us are very camera shy so we decided to book in an engagement shoot before the big day.

We spent a wonderful evening in the streets of London where Richard helped us relax more in front of the camera. His cheerful, easy-going demeanour made us feel much more comfortable and much less camera shy and we ended up with a wonderful set of pre-wedding photos.

Fast forward to the big day and all I can say is that Richard went above and beyond what could have been expected. Not only did he capture some wonderful memories that we will cherish the rest of our lives, he also somehow kept the entire day running on track checking in with our different suppliers to make sure that everyone was where they needed to be.

Throughout the service and reception, he was discreet when necessary and patient when it came to the group shots. Richard also managed to find time to steal my wife and I away for some quiet moments without us missing anything else.

It seems that he managed to be in ten places at once during the day and we couldn't have been happier.

Richards approach to wedding photography completely complimented our approach to our wedding day. He was able to capture incredibly special moments with little direction so not to distract from the moment taking place. His experience ensured he captured everything we asked and more in such an effortless manner.
When looking through our final edit of photographs we were amazed that certain moments had been photographed as neither of us remember Richard being around for those special stolen moments. He was so incredibly able to blend into our wedding party that guests and the wedding party alike remained unfazed by having a photographer amongst them.

We couldn't recommend Richard highly enough. He was incredibly professional, respectful and helpful and more than that an absolute delight to have with us during our special day.
