Hi, I'm Joe
My name is Joe. I don’t like to label myself with a specific style of photography, I will always listen to your desires, but I suppose I’m a documentary/reportage style photographer at heart. This means it’s very natural; I like to capture the day as it actually happens, in all its real-emotional-glory. The honest and emotional moments…the father of the bride seeing his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, the groom being nervous as he waits for his bride, to the brides best friend throwing popcorn everywhere! It’s all part of the day.
The key to my photography is telling a story. From start to finish.
Like the pages in your favourite book, the small moments which build the bigger novel draw your eye in years-to-come. The captured moments of little details otherwise missed or forgotten, are my favourite, as they mean so much to the people there (even if from the outside its unusual for the flower girl to be carrying the toy dinosaur rather than her poesy).
Compared to a number of photographers I’m pretty new on the scene. But that isn’t a bad thing. At the ripe old age of 27 I’m very easy to get along with. I’m easy going and relaxed which usually means your friends and family at the wedding find me very approachable. Allowing me to go floating about capturing the day.

I specialize in natural wedding photographs, capturing authentic moments in a candid photography style. This lets me tell the story of your unique wedding day without the awkward posed shots a traditional photographer would capture.
Pretty much everything. The real emotions have got to be one of my favourite bits. Telling the story and reminding you of the whole day.
Oh and the reception, love getting on the dance floor with everyone and snapping away when people let their hair down finally.
A photographer is also another guest, like their style and like them… your guests are bound to follow your lead.
Everywhere and anywhere
Joe photographed our small wedding in Cambridge and walked the city with us going to all our favourite places making beautiful photographs for us to remember the city where we met.
What can I say, joe was amazing. We had such a fantastic day and Joe managed to capture everything on camera!! We used Joe for our wedding in January. We approached Joe at late notice, and he was a joy to work with; adaptable and professional. On the day Joe dealt with all that we threw and him and caught some really beautiful shots. He combined his documentary style of natural photography whilst ensuring we had all the set pieces too. Joe did our Wedding Photography in July 2017 and the pictures were absolutely fantastic! Very relaxed on the day and caught so many images of the fun of the day! Would highly recommend him for anyone looking for somebody to capture the special moments of the day! :)
