My goal is to honestly tell your beautiful wedding story through documentary style photography and fun-loving couple shots.

How would you describe your style?
My photography style is very relaxed. I focus on shooting all of the cool and fun things that are going on around me that my couples will find interesting to look back on. My couples care more about people than objects. They are down to earth fun-loving people that value family and friends and want to have an absolute rocking celebration! Too many formal shots sap my energy. Capturing shots of you and your guests having a blast is where its at for me. If I could use a few words to describe my style I would lead towards saying documentary photography with a love for capturing relaxed couples’ portraits.
What do you love about weddings?
They are SO happy! What’s better than being around a couple that’s celebrating the fact that they love each other so much that they want to commit their lives to each other?! Having a job where I get hang with the happiest people on the planet is just awesome and knowing that I’m telling their beautiful love story along the way is just the best. Creating an authentic record of their wedding day that will make them feel absolutely thrilled when then look back on it for years to come is truly special.
Advice for couples planning their wedding?
I’ve written a fantastic blog post on ‘how NOT to choose your wedding photographer’. In it I’ve highlight the top 5 mistakes that I see couples making when booking their wedding photographer and how you can avoid them. Feel free to hop on the website to check it out! But, if I was going to share one thing right now it would be to avoid mistake number 5- ‘we don’t like the photographer as much as their photos’.
Your photographer will be a guest at your wedding, so you need the person that you hire to feel like a friend rather than a hired hand. This is SO important because your wedding photographer will share in your WHOLE day. They’ll witness some of the most precious moments in your life, not to mention they’ll be shadowing you all day. The more comfortable you feel with your photographer, the more natural and relaxed your wedding photographs will look.
I always recommend meeting with your wedding photographer. So go on, let them take you for a coffee to chat through your wedding plans so they can understand first hand what is most important to you on your wedding day.

I LOVE a good wedding. If you want to invite me to join you wherever you are in UK I’d love to be there! Contact me for more details. I’ll only charge you for additional mileage and accommodation where needed.
