Hi I am Mark, Award Winning Wedding Photographer based in Cambridge. Photography is my vocation and my passion. My overriding priority on your day is to ensure you have the best experience ever and to ultimately provide you with an abundance of memories that you will treasure.  I am lucky to be doing a job I love and I never take that for granted. I know that my passion comes through in my images because my couples tell me so.

Timeless images that will show all the emotions of the day, the happy tears, the smiles, sometimes the nerves and always the joy. My style and approach is mainly candid/documentary style photography but I also appreciate there are elements of formality that will weave its way through your day. So there will be a small number of relaxed informal group shots and of course a chance to have your own couple portrait session too, but only if that is what you want! I’ve heard it said that the formal photographs are ‘What my parents want” but I also know that all too soon some of those formal ones become the most important and treasured memories of your day. Life has a habit of changing when we least expect it but photographs are the most powerful tool we have available to us that remind us for what we’ve had and lost.

No two weddings are ever the same and neither should they be. Your wedding day should be individual and personal to you. I will be hand as much or as little as required to help and guide you both during the planning stages and work closely with your suppliers and venue to ensure your day is everything that you’d planned for. Your day Your way!

What is there not to love!

I am a story-teller of love. I'm just a man with a camera taking photos of couple on one of the happiest days of their lives surrounded by their family and friends. Capturing treasured memories that will last a lifetime through the lens of my camera. I never dreamt I'd be doing this for a living but to do a job I love is not like working at all. I will immerse myself into your day as its my own. I've always had a passion for photography and people and now I have this chance to combine both.

A recent couple coined the phrase 'Guestographer' and said I was the best guest at the wedding! I'm not sure about that but I know I will blend in with your guests and be totally at ease. I enjoy the build up to a wedding day as much as the day itself. I love that I get to be part of an amazing day that I've played a little part in. I like that the nerves that get to me before a wedding day but that's simply because I care. I love the fact I have a work/life balance where I can limit my weddings to only 25 per year so my couples receive the same level of care & attention and professionalism if you're my first couple of the year or the last.

I love to think on my feet when curveballs are thrown - bad light, rain or the unavoidable delay. To resolve last minute issue that arise and all without anyone being made aware. I love an excuse to 'get dressed up'. I love the bridal prep stories and the dance floor mayhem. I love the fact I can still take photos while having a boogie. I love the fact that I get to work with so many amazing couples.

Ability -v- Personality - When deciding on your photographer I’d always suggest meeting potential photographers you are interested in before making any decisions. Your photographer is the one supplier that will be there with you throughout often spending 10-12 hours plus in your company. You need to be sure you can get along with and feel comfortable in their presence and that they will be the perfect fit with you and your guests.
Do your day as you would like it and don’t be swayed by external factors. It’s your day!
Don’t sweat the small details. Your guests on the whole will reminisce about the day itself, the venue/food and the evening.
If possible add in an element of surprise that will keep your guests talking long after your wedding.

Travel is included within an 100 mile radius of my home. Additional travel costs may be added outside of this. Some weddings due to distance may require overnight stay(s) and is not included in my collection prices.
Destination weddings incur additional costs for flights and accommodation which are added to the cost of all wedding packages.
All additional cost are agreed at the time of booking.
