I’m Sandy and (somewhat unsurprisingly considering the website you are on) I photograph people’s weddings for a living.

I love my job, photography is a passion for me so I’m always trying to come up with the next beautiful shot. I think photography should be fun and spontaneous, I like natural images so that’s what I do my best to capture.

My style is what I call relaxed reportage which basically means that I spend most of the day focusing on getting lovely natural shots of people having a good time, usually when they didn't realise I took the photo. I'm not into interrupting your guests to get them to smile for the camera, I'd much rather wait for the right point to capture the real moments as I think they tell a much more real story of your day.

I like to include a few portrait shots of the two of you as well but the whole process is very relaxed, I'll give you simple, clear instructions and give you the space to be yourselves so the final images reflect who you are as a couple, not some pre-conceived idea I have of what you should look like.

Everyone is in a good mood and having fun, it's lovely to be around. I don't have bad days at work! I'm a bit of a soppy sod so I love being around the emotion and excitement that is everywhere at weddings. I genuinely tear up a little when I'm processing some of the photos I take!
