Hi! My name is Laura, and I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Ilkley, near Leeds. My style combines documentary photography with beautiful portraits, and my fun and relaxed approach makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera – I want you to actually enjoy having your photograph taken! Most of my photographs are natural and candid – I’m there to document your day as it happens. I love the details and pay special attention to all the little personal touches that make your wedding unique. I’ll also take you off for a short while to capture some beautiful shots of the two of you together – don’t worry, you’ll enjoy it I promise!
Prices start at £1300, and for that you get me for the entire day, a private online gallery to share with family and friends, and all of your edited images on a beautifully presented USB, in both colour and black + white. To see more images from weddings I’ve photographed, plus more details about the wedding packages and albums I offer, you can visit my website using the link below. I cover all areas of Yorkshire and the North West, and in fact I’m happy to travel anywhere for a wedding! If you have any questions, or want to meet to discuss your wedding over a cup of tea (or a G+T?!), then please get in touch!

I mostly like to keep to the background, documenting your day as it unfolds. Of course some parts of the day take a little more organisation and I'm happy to gather up your friends and family for a few more formal group photos! I'll also whisk you both off at some point during the drinks reception to get some relaxed and romantic portraits of the two of you together - for the first time as husband and wife!
Erm, everything! I'm with you all day and I love to be able to share in the excitement and nerves before the ceremony, the moment when a groom spots his bride for the first time, and the joyous looks on a bride and groom's face when they say I do!
I remember from my planning my own wedding that the number of photographers out there can be overwhelming! It can be had to even narrow it down to a handful that you want to meet with. My advice would be to first have a good look at their website and blog – do you like their relaxed, documentary style or would you prefer something more posed and formal? Do you like how this photographer edits their images or are they too dark, or too bright for you? Make sure you can see highlights from a full wedding shot by this photographer rather than just their favourites from a few different weddings. When you’ve decided to meet up with to find out a bit more, try and get to know them a bit better – as well as making sure they’re good at what they do ask yourself if you actually like this person! Your photographer will be with you for almost all of your wedding day do it’s important to choose someone who you think you’ll actually like having around on the biggest day of your life!
Travel within 50 miles of LS29 7NW is included in all packages. Beyond this I charge 0.45p per mile and for overnight accommodation if required.
