Christmas wedding in Groucho Club, Soho, London

A winter wedding indoors in London would seem like it would make for pretty tough conditions for a photographer, and it did. But Janis made it work beautifully both inside the Groucho Club and with a wonderful walk around Soho. Stunning photos and a real artistic talent made for some brilliant photos, and he even made it from France through the UK snow airport chaos. What more could we ask for? All of our family and friends – even those recently married with their own photos for comparison – have said that they’re the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more. Janis is not just a wedding photographer – he’s THE wedding photographer.

Hi Janis,

I hope you made it back to the UK safe and sound. This is just a quick note to say thank you for coming out to Mexico and being part of our celebrations. I hope you got to meet some nice people, eat some good food, have a few drinks, and see your snakes/reptiles!

We are having fun going through your photos and seeing things that we didn’t realize happened, and just remembering other special parts of the weekend. We truly had a good time, and hope you did too.

It was really great to meet you and we look forward to seeing how the photos turn out and then catching up again in September at Chris and Mollie’s wedding for some more fun and dancing!

I produce cinematic storytelling-type photos of your wedding day. It's a rare combination of documentary, fine art, and contemporary reportage style that makes my photos stand out.

I love working with happy people. Weddings are happy occasions so people there are happy. My biggest reward is seeing people happy and reliving their wedding day once going through their wedding photos.

Talk to your photographer before the wedding. Ask for his input on how to plan the day to allow some photography time when the light is at its best.

I travel worldwide and have shot weddings in 36 countries and counting. For travels in Europe, the travel fee is flat £500, that covers my tickets and 2 nights in a hotel. For more exotic destinations please check with me.
