Howling Basset

My real name is Andy Stonier I just called the company after my Basset Hound, Snoop Dog, who had a wicked Howl.

I’ve been a photographer since 1986 working on cruiseships, holiday camps, national newspapers, Kodak wedding photographer assisting in New York etc … don’t panic though I did start very young.

I’d shot many weddings on film during the 90’s then as things started to go digital formed Howling Basset in 2004. I’ve photographed over 1,100 weddings so I’m probably the most experience wedding photographer out there. I’m so laid back I’m practically horizontal. I think my calm, collected and totally professional manner just makes for a more relaxing wedding experience for the couple.

Style wise its a real hotch-potch … Traditional, documentary, candid, directed. I’m just after the best shots I can get and I’ll dive in or hang back depending on the day, style and what the couple want.
