Erika is a professional wedding, studio and portrait photographer based in Ealing, West London.
After building a name as a production photographer on films sets, she soon moved onto specialised studio photography and weddings where she developed a keen eye for capturing decisive and emotive story telling moments.
She has a wealth of experience shooting weddings from large scale banquets at the Grand Connaught Rooms to intimate country houses such as Quendon House.
Erika brings a professional and personable touch to your shoot day to capture memories you can treasure for a life time.
The best and only way to know if a photographer is the right one for you is to meet them in person and see their work in print. You and your fiance are more than welcome to come and meet me in the studio for a FREE consultation over a nice frothy cappuccino so you can see my sample albums, prints, frames and images I can’t show online and to discuss the best way forward for on your big day.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”― Ansel Adams
Reportage, photojournalistic and candid. Some of my favourite photographers are from the early days of the era of Magnum and Life. The pioneers who saw things people never did before. Photographers who are story tellers that can weave a rich tale with a single image. This style not only applied to important world events, it applies to all aspects of life, hence why it's so appropriate for weddings. One great photo is worth a thousand words... On the day I will be discreet, yet attentive. I'll always be somewhere close and looking for that brilliant shot. I won't interfere with any of your proceedings and won't interrupt your day. Think of me like a little photographic cherub on your shoulder! (I'll also carry a tissue if you need...)
Weddings are those once in a lifetime events where there is always happiness and expressions of emotions. It's rare and I love seeing it, being a part of it and making images of it. It's always new and unique. People will say things they might not normally have the courage to, do things they might normally be too shy to and feel emotions they might not have shared before. When else do you have all the closest people in your life together in one single place? Good things are bound to happen and I'm always grateful to be there to capture it for you.
I absolutely believe that the best photos will always come from when a couple clicks with a photographer on a personal level then all parties have an invested interest in getting the best photos possible. If I believe you would benefit the most from choosing a different photographer, I will tell you so! I'll keep it short... - Meet the photographer in person! You will be spending the whole day and the most intimate moments of your big day with them so make sure you like them! - Make sure you love the style of photography. - Ask as many questions as you can and want! - Make sure who you meet is the person who is shooting for you on the day. Many bigger companies will hire freelancers who may not be as professional as you may be led to believe. - Stick to you budget and make sure there are no hidden charges. - Choose someone who shoots more than just weddings. Photography is an art and a passion, not a job. Skills in other genres of photography are key to unique and expressive photos.

Choosing a wedding photographer was a daunting task, until my fiancé and I met Erika! She came highly recommend by friends and we immediately felt comfortable with her. She did an amazing job of getting to know us as a couple, and then using her knowledge to add such a fantastically creative touch to both our engagement photos and our wedding photos!
On our special day Erika was very patient, calm and extremely professional from the beginning. She was so friendly with me and my entire family that made everybody feel totally comfortable and by doing so, capturing a natural and fun photos.
Erika's artistry is unmatched. She consistently went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied and pleased with everything before the wedding, during the big day, and afterwards.
