I shoot mainly candid as your day unfolds but if there’s especially nice light or a cool backdrop I might give gentle direction so we get the best shot. Soooo, a mixture of candid and minimal naturally prompted shots throughout the day. Love woodland, forest and mountain backdrops, plus non-traditional venues such as cool warehouses or old castles.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016 and it’s a dream job. I love meeting new people and finding out about their journey, then being there as part of the day to document it. The amount of times I’ve felt emotional (don’t worry I hide it behind my camera and still take photos!) when couples exchange their vows, or when a speech is made about a family member who can’t be there on the day. The thing is, weddings are full of emotion. Hugs for people you’ve not spoken to in years, excitement and nerves when seeing your other person for the first time at the ceremony. I can’t help but feel and see it all when I’m with you. I know where to find that next photo opportunity, to zone in and get totally into your day.

Having photographed so many weddings now I understand what part is about to come next but I never get complacent, as an unexpected moment can always appear. My aim is to be there for you, to read your energy, to know when to ask for more in a couple shoot or when to be gentler. The story is about you both, not about me. Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, being an empath helps me match your vibe.

The most important advice is to be you and do what you like! Go mad on building your dream wedding.

I live in Glasgow and cover Scotland. For weddings over 2 hours from Glasgow 2x night accommodation will be added to the quote. Plus 40p per mile over 20 miles from Glasgow City.
