I’m an award winning wedding photographer based in Leigh-on-sea in Essex, UK but cover the whole of the country and also international destinations. I love to capture those little moments that tell your story and make your wedding day unique. I do this in a very informal and documentary or reportage style. Basically I’m trying to be invisible (sounds like a superpower haha) and capture things without you knowing 😉 – mainly by shooting what is happening around me without trying to pose or asking for cheesy smiles. Even during your couple portrait section I keep it natural and fun.

What else makes me happy? Travelling (whoop!), drinking coffee, snuggling with my cat George (yup, I’m a cat lady!), reading tons of books, laughing as much as possible and simply enjoying life!

My style is very natural - some call it documentary, reportage or candid, basically I try to be as unobtrusive as possible, shooting what is happening around me. Even within my portraits I capture the giggles and the little looks that make you smile. I always thin in storyline and so capturing the little moments that are happening without anyone knowing, is all part of your unique story. Being invisible and sneaky is key to that... I feel like being invisible is a photographer's super power. ;)

The emotions! As cheesy and corny as this may sound - the laughter, the smiles, the tears, the jokes, the pure fun and happiness of the day is what makes me addicted to weddings. I love hanging out with my couples every weekend and seeing them getting married to their best friend. Being part of one of their happiest days in their lives is simply wonderful to experience.

Make sure you feel comfortable with your photographer, because who ever you will choose, he or she will spend a lot of time with you on your wedding day ;) Overall, even though budgets are important, try not to base your decision solely on the money. At the end of the day, the cake is eaten, the dress hangs in the closet and all you have left are your memories, and the photographs. So, make sure you guys click.
