Wedding photography has been part of our family life now for the past 12 years. It is a passion for us and we love capturing the emotions, drama and timeless moments of one of the biggest days a couple can experience. It’s why we originally called ourselves Big Day Weddings, and in all honesty each year it just gets better and better.
We are “people” people and are often mistaken for friends of the bride and groom as we seamlessly mingle to capture those all important natural moments, as well as creating a good amount of our own. Our aim is to quite simply give you the style and tone of photography that you value, and then exceed your expectations.
We really listen to you, and then sprinkle our unique take on things into the mix. Previously David worked in the advertising industry while Joanna is originally a fine art painter by trade. As most weddings have both of us there, we can literally be in two places at once!
Take a look at what previous couples have said about us here on Your Perfect Wedding Photographer and also many more reviews on Google itself.
First and foremost we LISTEN. Sometimes couples know exactly what they are looking for, others like a lot of advice. We shoot a mixture of documentary wedding photography with our fashion inspired ideas coming into play where appropriate. Our aim is to give you a range of shots from candid moments to (if you want it) shots that look as though they have come straight out of a quality magazine. We are adaptable and love a challenge too!
We love the LOVE, and great sense of occasion too. It's a heady combination on a big day, and we revel in being able to reflect that in our photography.
We would say if physically possible try and actually meet your photographers, so that you get a gut feeling for their compatibility to yourselves. It's so important to feel relaxed and happy around them. We are very confident in our ability with this, so that we always try and get some kind of contact going, even if that is just Skype or FaceTime for our couples further away. We love to meet you and hear your exciting plans. Why not have a good read of our interview here on Your Perfect Wedding Photographer too?
