I’m Claire, the photographer and founder of Unique Image Photography.
I have been photographing weddings for over 20years and can honestly say I love each and every wedding that I photograph!
Each wedding is so unique, whether it be a small intimate wedding or a great big wedding…no two weddings are the same.
It is so important to have your wedding photographed and documented professionally.
I blend into the background, photographing the little details and the little moments as well as taking some time to photograph beautiful portraits of you both, your bridal party and family groups throughout the day. These are the photographs that become more important over time, you want to be able to look back – perhaps with your children – and remind yourself about who was there to share your day.
I like to have a laugh with you, it’s important that we ‘click’ (no pun intended) and that we connect because chances are we’ll be with each other (more or less) all day – not in a ‘in your face’ kind of way but if you book with me the chances are I’ll be at your wedding from preparations to the dancing.

My style is natural, I let things happen and document them.
I capture all the little details from your day - you might not think that it's important but you will, in time, forget them and I don't want you to forget them.
I like to take some time to photograph your portraits and group shots. Again, you may not think the groups are important but they really are. Ironically I think they are the part of the wedding that most people dread but I am quick, and I like to have a laugh with them. I don't force you to stand against a wall in a straight line. I like you to just be together, I direct you so I can capture you in the best light and in the best 'pose', but they are made to look natural. No stuffiness!!

Sometimes the photographer is the only supplier who stays with you all day. My collections include me from preparations until dancing. I need to feel a connection with my couples, I like to feel that I could go for a drink or have a laugh with them when we meet.
