What are you looking for in your wedding photographer. How do you decide who to spend 10 hours with on your wedding day? It can be tricky to find the right person for you. Maybe that’s me. Maybe it’s not.
This may help you decide –
Would you trust me if I asked you to rush out for a picture during a gorgeous sunset or if I suggested we trek across a field because I’ve found a gorgeous hidden spot? Would you go with it if I asked you to stand in front of that gorgeous old doorway with peeling paint? Do want a photographer who is inconspicious throughout your day but still captures all those authentic moments of joy?
Who will lightly direct you during the more formal shots to get the best images possible without it feeling all fake and formal? Who will get through your group shots as quickly and painlessly as possible so you have the most amount of time for having fun. Do you love the details of a wedding and appreciate the fact that I will spend time during the day capturing them in the most beautiful way possible? Do you want a beautifully curated story of your day with an emphasis on relaxed and creative imagery? Do you want some stunning images of the two of you without having to spend hours away from your guests?
Answering yes to these questions probably means we should chat about your plans! I’m based in Lancashire but I cover weddings in the North West and across the UK. I have a love for enthusiastic and creative couples who are doing their own thing. My heart sings for relaxed weddings and informal affairs. I want my photography to tell the story of your day as it unfolds – the emotions, your plans all coming to life and all the fun, sweat and tears from bride preparation in the morning through until the dancing. I will capture it all.
You can see lots of my recent weddings on my website or please get in touch to arrange a consultation to chat about your plans.
Modern, beautiful and relaxed. I work in a predominantly documentary style throughout the day meaning I blend into the background and wait for the magic to unfold. During the couples portraits I work with you to get the most relaxed and natural looking images possible without asking you to be away from your guests for hours at a time.
I love the atmosphere of a wedding. I get to spend the day with people at their happiest. The excitement and the anticipation is infectious and I will cry at least once at every weekend. It's amazing to see how each couple brings their own style and ideas to a wedding day and makes it their own.
You will spend more time with your wedding photographer on the day than any one else - probably even your new husband or wife. So choose someone who will be a pleasure to be around and who you actually like! Then make sure they are professional - fully insured, experienced and prepared for any eventuality.
