So, it’s that time to look for a photographer as you trawl endlessly through the internet to find out which one will be right for you. What should you be looking for? What questions do you need to ask? How much should you really be paying for your coverage? I can imagine it is all a bit mind boggling when all you want is for someone who you can trust to record your big day! Of course the keyword here is “trust”. There is no better way than to suss someone out than to meet up in person. With absolutely no strings attached, just a natter over a brew (and maybe a cheeky biscuit or two), you can fire out all the questions you have and generally get to know if I am right for you. If not, no problemo, after-all it is all down to personal taste.
Why not have your wedding shot exactly how you like it? Open to ideas and very adaptable, I make sure that I document your wedding exactly the way you want. My photography is all about making you smile and I don’t just mean the moment when you see your photo’s for the first time. Photography should seamlessly integrate with your day, it should be a good memory for both you and your guests and this is what I strive for.
All packages come with full day coverage including traditional portraiture, group shots, your guests enjoying themselves and lots more, a professional service, a beautiful online gallery and a bespoke album service. I offer a huge range of extra goodies too! Want to customise your Package to how you like it? No problem, just ask and I will try my hardest to cater for everything you need. After-all, it’s your wedding day!
My style, hmm, I would rather say that my process of photography is rather traditional. That said, the resulting images are very light and soft with a more casual approach. My style of shooting on the day is subtle, quick and discreet, well, until it's time to shoot the groups and then I come into my own ;)
What isn't there to love about weddings? I think like many Wedding photographers, I started off with a love of photographing people. A wedding is a place that gives me so much freedom to shoot at a place where there is so much emotion in the air. It is a photographers paradise. A wedding is also made up of so many separate parts of the day, with each wedding being completely different to the next means that I can get a huge variety of images and a fresh buzz from the results each time. This is what drives me to love it more and more after each and every shoot.
A photographer is often by your side all day on one of the most important days of your life. Therefore it is vital you build a relationship with your photographer. Ask your photographer not just about their business but about them as a person, make sure you feel you can 100% trust that person and feel comfortable with them before committing. A good chat at a consultation before booking is always the best way. Good questions to ask: How long have you been taking photos professionally? Can we see some previous weddings you have shot from start to finish? Have you shot at my wedding before, if not will you visit my venue before the wedding?
