I started off in TV and made travel programmes for Sky and ITV ( Thames studios in Teddington!)

I first picked up a camera at 9 when i was given one with a 110 film to put in it ( yep! i can hear you all saying “what?”)
Followed my heart and fell in love with this wedding industry because after all its about beauty, happiness and laughter – maybe a few tears…… It’s an absolute joy to capture someones day for them, and I do this without intruding upon your day.

Documentary, reportage, light, unobtrusive, relaxed, not too posed - looking for natural reactions and smiles and eye contact and just the chance to bring out my couples true self for their pictures.

I love weddings from top to bottom,
the build up and the planning....
the arrival of the day and seeing what the dress is like!!! and all the colours of the flowers and the room....
the grooms reaction is something special,
the emotions......
the happiness and the coming together of two people and their families and as the day progresses you get to know a lot about the couple and the people around them....
the calm after the storm - the relaxation after the service has calmed,
I like a few portraits - because when the bride and groom come away from the crowd for a few minutes they have chance to take a deep breath and be alone and take it all in, - thats natural and beautiful to watch ( from a distance ..... collecting some gorgeous natural images without you knowing it......)
