Hi, I’m Holly.

Firstly, I love being creative; whether it is photography, crafts or music. I love that beauty can be created from very little or even nothing and I also love getting lost in the act of playing my guitar or creating decorations for my home. I am lucky enough to live in Devon and I love exploring the beautiful coastline and Dartmoor with my camera. When I’m home, I also love games, home-brewing and, perhaps most of all, food!

I have been a Wedding Photographer my entire working life and have loved every second of it. When I finished college, I was
fortunate to have a partner who saw my potential and encouraged me to start my business. I have photographed lots of amazing
weddings and have received such positive feedback that I only want to continue to meet new people, capture more moments and
bring joy to my couples when they receive the photos.

I am a documentary photographer. This means for 95% of your day, I disappear into the background and capture all the special, emotional, romantic and funny moments as they occur, telling your story exactly as it was. I personally believe that there are lots of things that you would rather do during the day than posing endlessly, so I like to take my photos whilst you are just living and loving your day. And I think the photos are better, more alive and more special that way.

I love capturing the different relationships that you find at weddings. The main relationship is, of course, the two of you and I love capturing the joy,
love, laughter and tears (good ones!) on the day. Yet I also love other relationships too; bride and father, family reunions and the two families
coming together and sharing your day. Weddings have so many of these moments and the best thing is that you can relax, enjoy them and leave me to diligently preserve them all for you.

I believe in living in the present. That means that when it comes to your wedding, I just want you to live the day and love every second. The best weddings are when everything that is great in your lives comes together for one day to be celebrated. I love that my artwork can allow you to cherish that moment forever.

You should pick someone that you can be yourselves around. I would also recommend thinking about what you want from your photographer on the day. For example, I am a documentary photographer, so if you want lots of formal portraits then I might not be the best fit for you. However, if you want someone who will blend in with your wedding and capture the looks, emotions and nuance of the day, then I think that we will get on brilliantly.

I will travel pretty much anywhere and would just ask you to cover my fuel costs if your wedding is outside the South West.
