Im Darren Gair of The Last of the Light wedding photography. I am based in a small village called Romsley which is on the border of the West Midlands and Worcestershire and very close to the city of Birmingham. I started shooting around 2013 where I soon realised that as an avid photographer, weddings offered all aspects of photography that I strongly desired all packaged into one day. My photography has always centred around people and emotion, I was completely hooked after my fist wedding and have never looked back.

I’m very fortunate that weddings take me right across the UK and more recently across Europe and the Caribbean! I have seen to some amazing places and worked for and with some truly amazing people.

My style of wedding photography offers you the chance to basically just get on and enjoy your wedding day, safe in the knowledge that my eye and way with people will ensure you get amazing images that truly reflect how amazing your wedding day was. You get the chance to see things as I saw it whilst you were busy meetings and greeting your guests.

You have spent a long time planning your wedding day to ensure it’s fun, memorable and that it all runs smoothly. The last thing you need is the photographer on the day to have a negative effect on the whole experience. My job is to be an additional guest, blending in unnoticed with the exception of a few family shots which will be planning into the day and done in a fun and relaxed manner.
