My style of photography is warm, natural and creative, and I love working with my natural surroundings to create beautiful and artistically composed photographs. I mix an editorial style of photography to capture all the special moments, laughs and emotions of the day, with a little bit more posed (but still very relaxed) photographs of family, bridal party and bride and groom.

All of it, even the unavoidable time pressure! No two weddings are the same, and I love that variety of my work and the adrenaline rush of capturing those unique moments just at the right time. I enjoy the beauty of the dresses, the flowers, venue and decorations. I relish the excitement and emotions and often have a tear in my eye. I find it a real privilege to be part of someone's special day in such an intimate way and to tell their story.

Your wedding photos are the one tangible item that you can remember your wedding day by for years and generations to come. My first piece of advice would be to make sure you pick a photographer whose style of photography you like, someone who has plenty of experience and a strong portfolio. On the day you want to be sure that your photographer knows how to deal with various lighting situations and any challenges that are often thrown at us, and can still provide you with a set of consistently beautiful images.

Secondly, you'll be spending a lot of time with your photographer on your special day. Make sure you like them, that they'll respect your privacy on your wedding day, and that you feel that they could be someone you'd be friends with.
