I’ve always been creative, and in my childhood I was always busy writing, reading, roleplaying and making up cartoon charachters. I didn’t get my first camera before I was 23 (Now, I’m 30), but I don’t think just owning a camera makes you a better photographer. I happened to find that I’m best at channeling my creativity through photography, and I’m grateful for it every day!
Let me spend the full day with you, from getting ready through to hitting the dancefloor! That way, you and your guests can be sure that all the special moments are covered in style. I have a photojournalistic approach to my work, like a fly-on-the-wall, while at the same time adding the right amount of direction an tidy-up to make sure you’ll get stunning, publication-ready images.
All wedding packages comes with an informal planning meeting, a friendly and flexible photographer (me!), discrete documentary photography, extreme attention to detail, relaxed and natural couple portraits, a good dose of creativity + not to mention something gorgeous and tangible to remember your wedding by.
If my work and approach speaks to you, get in touch and I’ll get back you with my beautiful pricing guide plus all the nitty-gritty. I always respond, even if I’m not free on your date, so if you haven’t heard anything in 24 hours, please do head over to my website and enquire directly via email.
I'm an easy going, flexible and no-fuss photographer who knows what's important, and who doesn't get in your way. I capture photos as your day unfolds, trying my best to be where the important things happen. I capture a mixture of details, emotions, reactions and scenery to create a comprehensive story from your wedding day. I add a little dash of careful instruction and tidy-up when appropriate to create stunning, publication-ready images from your wedding day edited in my signature, colourful style.
I love the beautiful details, but nothing gets me going more than capturing the actual emotions and energy of people, rather than trying to instruct or create them. I love how it's fast paced, and that it's challenging me creatively every day. Being a wedding photographer means long hours and a strenuous working environment, but it's all worth it as creating beautiful wedding galleries is so rewarding.
Firstly, it's important that the final images yor photographer produces are images you'd see yourself looking back at in the future. Look through portfolios and blogposts to make sure you love your photographer's style, and that they produce consistent work throughout the wedding day - not just a few good hero shots! Secondly, you should get to know your photographer to feel comfortable with having them along on your wedding day. If the way they reply to messages, speak, act and chat with you puts you at ease, and you also love their work - it's a match!
I travel anywhere, and include mainland Scotland travel with all packages.
