Hi, I’m Ashling.

I’m an open book; dog mad, lover of hugs and rom-coms, love nothing more than having my family and friends round to feed them a feast, preferably after a big stomp on Dartmoor, former architect and I hail from Ireland!

I take pride in putting even the most camera shy couples at ease – my inane natter and frequent squeals of delight usually have them too busy laughing!  My main mission is to capture the authentic emotion and love between each couple.  I go above and beyond for my couples, making sure that I give my all to every couple I work for so that they get the best experience possible.  Capturing moments, big and small is what I do – the smiles, tears, laughter and the bear hugs!

In 2017 I was beyond humbled to win Photographer of the Year at Learning to Fly – still have to pinch myself!

My style is fine art, documentary, relaxed photography. I want to capture beautiful, natural and romantic images that reflect the true emotions of the day.

What do I not love about weddings!!?? I adore weddings, everything from the gorgeous wedding dress, the overwhelming emotion when a bride first sees herself in the mirror all ready for the ceremony, her fathers reaction, the look on the grooms face when he sees the girl of his dreams walking towards him, the hilarious heartfelt speeches, the fact that no two weddings are alike. However my absolute FAVOURITE part of your day, is when I get to steal you both away to relish your newfound status as husband and wife. I love to capture the tenderness and pure love of this moment.

Go with your gut. Choose someone whose work you love. Do not let price be the main reason behind your decision. It's so important to get an experienced photographer who knows where to be and when. You will cherish these photos - in thirty years time you will pull out your album and reminisce about how much fun you had, how happy your Dad looked, how gorgeous your mum was......... so choosing the right photographer to capture these moments is crucial.

I primarily shoot weddings in the southwest of England, but also happy to travel to Ireland as it gives me a chance to see family ❤️
