First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile – I know there are so many wedding photographers out there, it must be very overwhelming trying to pick someone. I’ll try and sell myself to you as briefly as possible!
I’ve been absolutely obsessed with photography since about the age of 7 when I used to create mini photo studios out of sheets and take pictures of my Beanie Babies with a disposable camera. Luckily, I’ve come quite a way since then and I’ve been photographing weddings full time since 2012. It really, genuinely, is something I absolutely adore doing and I feel very lucky to be able to do it as a job!
So why me? I really focus on documentary wedding photography to capture your day in the most unobtrusive way possible. I know you don’t want to spend your day with your photographer! I love documenting funny, silly moments as much as the touching, emotional ones, and I really get excited about all aspects of a wedding, so you can rest assured all the tiny little details will be captured.
However awkward you might feel in front of the camera, my aim is to get the best out of you and create photos that really, totally just sum the two of you up as a couple. This is one of the reasons I include a free pre-wedding shoot in my full day package to give you a practise run before the day and get you feeling comfortable and confident!
So here’s a very small bit about me so you can get a feel for if I’m your kind of person! I live in Bristol with my boyfriend and our hilariously enormous rescue cat called Thompson. I watch a LOT of bingeable TV shows (current faves are It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Parks and Recreation) and I’m a real sucker for horror movies. I play a lot of boardgames and I love eating out as much as I can! Hopefully I sound like a good fit for you, but let me know if you have any questions at all!

My style is really laid back and natural. I don't do any weird or cheesy poses, I don't interrupt your day and I don't spend hours taking formal photos! I just love capturing your day naturally and genuinely. I use natural light and minimal equipment so I can be as unobtrusive as possible and you'll barely notice I'm there!
The thing that still amazes me is that I have now shot over 200 days and no two wedding days are the same. Each one is unique and memorable for it's own reason. And I still get excited every morning when I get to see the bride's dress! I love the atmosphere, I love the chaos and I love being around love.
There's so many photographers out there and I know it must be really tricky finding someone. My few lines of advice would be to ask your photographer to see a whole gallery (everything they've delivered to a client) to double check that their style is consistent with what you're looking for and they haven't only put the few good photos on their website! My second suggestion would be to make sure you meet in person before you book. Check you feel comfortable and happy having a chat to them and they will probably get the best out of you on your wedding day for the photos!
