Today we feature the lovely wedding of Kate and Jon who has their special day captured by Carmen Wedding Photographer.
Kate and Jon tied the knot on a beautiful winters day in the amazing location of The Monkey Island in Maidenhead, and I am delighted with the results.
They decided to do the ceremony a bit earlier than usual as winter days are shorter, to make the most of the natural light. This proved to be a good decision, the wedding day came around with blue skies and a lovely winter sun, how lucky!
There was a lot of attention to detail. They had metallics as their colour scheme with a little Christmas touch, which fitted perfectly with the time of the year. Kate’s bridesmaids had really cute ballerina skirts coordinated with wooly jumpers to keep them warm through the day!
They couldn’t decide to go for sweet or sour so they had two cakes! A cake of cheeses and a traditional cake baked by Jon’s sister which added a nice personal touch.
