I had planned for a sunset shoot with Lynsey and Craig, I knew exactly where it would happen and at what time. But of course the weather had other plans and the clouds rolled in.
Despite this I kept me eye on things and just as the sun was going down it popped its head through the clouds 10 minutes above sunset. I shouted to the couple that ‘it’s on’ and all three of us ran hell for leather across the golf course. Of course when we got there the sun dipped back into the clouds. I dropped to my knees just like that scene in the movie ‘platoon’ and screamed “WHY’ Always being a glass half full kind of guy I decided to shoot anyway as the sky had a nice moody orange glow.
I like the shot I ended up with because as a result of the darker sunset, everything was silhouetted except the brides dress, which I thought was cool.

I love the composition of this shot, the reflection and the look on the bridesmaid face. I spotted this as I was standing on the balcony
