We have published the results of our wedding photography industry survey conducted with over 400 professional wedding photographers in the UK. We have also put together an infographic below for you to share.
Our survey showed some interesting results, the average number of weddings captured each year was 28, from a booking point of view 53% of couples that enquired would book with that photographer, this is great percentage. 32% would also go on and book an engagement shoot. Unplugged weddings are also big talk at the moment, our survey showed that under 30% would have an unplugged wedding and it was quite even from the wedding photographers point of view, 46% said they would prefer a unplugged wedding. In our recent feature we got the opinions of 42 Professional Photographers Give Their Views on Unplugged Weddings.
When it comes to tech it is also very close in the battle of Canon and Nikon at 55% using a Canon camera. Most photographers spend over 8 hours editing and 34% send over 12 hours.
