Wedding at Oaks Farm in Croydon

We feature the wedding of Kylie and Charlie who got married at the Oaks Farm in Croydon, captured by Bart of Miracle Moments.

The couple

Kylie and Charlie are just are overpowered with energy, but what you can expect from sport maniacs ? Both of them in love in football and each other , you can sense it straight on the first time you see them. Extremely smiled and open people with amazing family and friends who know how to rocks on the wedding day.

A little bit about the day and how it went

I never actually had a wedding on monday and you know what they saying about them ” everyone hates mondays”.Well that monday will go to the history under proof of Kylie and Charlie. Everything starts in South London at Kylies house where she and her bridesmaids were getting makup and hair done but for the final touch and dressing up they had to move to Oaks farm in Croydon where whole wedding day had place. Fantastic closed area with lot of green space if you want to make your wedding very private. Day filled with joy, smiles, love and bit of tears but if I had to use one word to describe it I would say EPIC.

Do tell us a little bit about yourself

My name is Bart and I am everyday growing wedding photographer based in London, but in my profession I am not only pinned to one city, I am also destination wedding photographer , curious for new adventures and couples around the world who are getting married in so different locations.

How would you describe your photography style?

I would say documentary, definitely . It is not like I am against of posing photos because those are also part which had a time at the day , but when someone say wedding for me I see moments, smiles, dances and stories around everyone. I want to be storyteller from very first photo till the last one I want to take my couples on the journey, once again go back to that special day and make them feel like it is something totally new. I want to show them what they could miss but my eye did not.

What did you love about the day?

It would be so easy to say everything, but if really had to point on one thing it would be ambience. People react different on a photographer at the wedding , but that day I felt like I was part of a family, like I was guest with a camera, it is precious when people do not hesitate and celebrate wedding day as much as possible.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day?

I would say to not stress and trust for professional suppliers . Many wedding days can be ruin if you try to trust “student” or someone who actually is learning to do things. As much as opportunity of saving money is tempting, the wedding day is a one day in your life , entrust in professionals and do not try to keep hand on everything and I promise you will spend this day on enjoying yourself instead of looking if things are on their places.
