Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding

Real Wedding // Published by Sam, Editor - March 27, 2015

Today we feature the lovely wedding of Jess & Alex who got married at the beautiful and colourful location of Trinity Buoy Wharf in London. Their perfect day was captured by My Beautiful Bride.

The venue was Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY with the ceremony in the courtyard and the reception held in the historic ‘Chain Store’. Trinity Buoy Wharf is an amazing colourful, vibrant riverside location, situated a mile east of Canary Wharf and overlooking the Dome. The day of the wedding was a fantastic sunny day in August. Jess, Alex and many of the guests are musicians and throughout the day there was the amazing sound of live music. This urban environment provided the best backdrops for photos and my overall memory of the day was laughter and a genuine sense of joy and celebration for the happy couple tieing the knot. Guests were treated to a Caribbean barbecue and all the young children got very excited by the arrival of an ice cream van. A live band made up of close friends, serenaded the happy couple for their first dance and then the party started!

Favourite moment: Partying hard with all of our favourite people.

Tips for planning process:

  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help! People want to, and generally love to.
  • Get as many people involved as possible, its loads more fun that way.
  • Don’t freak out about silly things, it’s just one day.
  • If all else fails, just make sure you get your rings, certificate and photos; everything else is disposable!
