Spanish Wedding: Cristina & Miguel
Today we feature the beautiful Spanish wedding of Cristina & Miguel at La Casona del Lago, Spain. Their day was captured by Sergio Cueto. Details by the day been provided by the happy couple so I shall hand you over to Cristina and Miguel.
September the fifth has always been quite a special day for us. In 2014 apart from being our 15th anniversary it would become the day of our wedding. We made great efforts in the organization and took care of most details we could to personalise such a special day. We were quite clear, we wanted a wedding with no compromises, surrounded by people we truly wanted around us, a romantic wedding and with fresh air. So we decided to make a civil ceremony in a beautiful place with a lovely house, incredibly decorated and with awesome views to the lake. As soon as we visited the place, we knew this would be our place. Exactly the same happened with Sergio’s job.
We are fanatics of photography, first of all, because we think that’s one of the best memories you’ll have later in your life.
We have to say, we enjoyed very much preparing the wedding, and at the same time wondering how that day would be. And suddenly that day came.
And it was quite better even than our expectations, the word that better describes that day, is awesome. Awesome, not only because everything one doesn’t want happen, didn’t happen, ( rainy day, family issues, food problems…) but because everything went better than what we expected. It was an emotional ceremony, lot of people even in tears because of the moment, and because of the lectures of our closer relatives. And above all, because of what we two said to each other, with or without words. For me (Cristina) the best of the day was Miguel’s face all wedding long.
And now, when we first took a look at Sergio Cueto’s job, we were thrilled, because it conveys the feelings we had that day. One day that only had one, huge inconvenient: everything happened too fast!
Now we only have to enjoy all the good that is coming to us, and who knows, maybe repeat with Sergio for a post-wedding session, or (a bit later) for a baby session…
