Today we feature a wedding captured by Pixies in the Cellar of Chloe & James at The Saddleworth Hotel on the 19th May 2012.
Chloe first arrived for her initial meeting at “Pixies” with… well everyone!!! They only just fit into our meeting room, so we felt like we’d met the whole family before the wedding began. We often shoot at The Saddleworth Hotel, it’s a great venue with a bit of everything – a fantastic countryside location, an outdoor ceremony space, classy interiors and a lot of attention to detail not to mention the delicious food!! Yum!
The day began with Chloe preparing for her day, check out the height of those shoes!!! and what a great dress, a mermaid style fit with a giant bow at the back, very different and it looked amazing. Some very cute little bridesmaids too, eager to be snapped in their special dresses, with the bigger bridesmaids and mother of the bride in slate grey, which seems to be very popular so far this year. Whilst Chloe was getting ready the groom and groomsmen were putting the finishing touches to the reception in the stunning chic ballroom, a real wow factor at The Saddleworth Hotel!
To arrive at The Saddleworth is to arrive in style, chauffeur driven in a custom Rolls Royce Phantom driven by Anthony (the owner of The Saddleworth). Just time for a few snaps of Chloe and a tearful very proud dad, with a glass of champagne to start the celebrations (or calm the nerves!) The sun was out, well almost, so it was decided for an outdoor ceremony, good job as James had earlier helped to decorate the gazebo!! The unpredictable weather held out, with plenty of time for pictures taking in the magnificent surroundings, whilst the guests enjoyed the bar! After a few pics inside, (we love the reflections on the ballroom floor) – it was time for everyone to tuck in to the “three rosette” award winning food.
