October 2016 Collection
Each month we round up stunning wedding photos that catch our eye, so without further a do, here is our October 2016 Wedding Photo Collection.
Photo by Grace Pham Photography – Oli & Meaghan got married in Cannizaro Park, beautiful young love.
Photo by Wellington Oak Photography – A cute little moment just as the bride and groom were celebrating their first married sip of champagne with a cheeky peck! The wedding guests look on and cheer from a distance…
Mind the Bouquet!
Photo by Kari Bellamy – I did a version of this shot before, and the bride Laura, saw it on my blog and wanted to try it herself. Sometimes with things like this, you just get lucky. And I got extremely lucky with this giant bouquet and their reactions.
Charlotte and John in their wedding car
Photo by Alexa Poppe Wedding Photography – Charlotte and John were married at Ottery St Mary and had their reception at the beautiful Escot House about 10 minutes drive away. They didn’t just choose an ordinary transport, but instead were driven in a stylish 1961 Jaguar Mark IX with red leather interior, perfect for some great shots and the sun roof didn’t just let some natural light into the car’s interior it also served as a perfect frame for the image.
Just a little bit of rain…
Photo by Kari Bellamy Photography – You would think with an August wedding, you would be fairly safe with the weather. But despite it being fairly warm outside, it completely poured with rain throughout Sherie and Henry’s wedding day. They were such good sports about it, and during a break from the dancing, we popped outside to do this shot. Not many couples would be willing to go out in the pouring rain and complete darkness to do a photo, but I’m so glad they did!
Bride and Groom Portrait
Photo by BARBARA ZANON – Picture was taken in Venice, at Saint Mark square, Italy. I used in a creative way the flow of tourists.
Woodhall Manor Wedding Photography
Photo by Kelsie Low Photography – This photo was taken of the beautiful Rebecca and Ben at Woodhall Manor in Suffolk just as the sun went down. I love getting creative with wedding portraits in the dark and now that we move into winter, this is the perfect time of year for it!
Symmetrical Urban Love
Photo by Ben Yew Photography – Captured in Iceland, this amazing building is right in the city and after capturing around Iceland, this is something different. Love the symmetrical shapes of this interior, looks like crystal. Got the couple to stand right in the middle of the shape which was challenging when they are so far away.
Bridal make up re-visioned
Photo by John Hope Photography – This is the beautiful Claire, taken as she was having her make-up done ahead of her marriage to James in the stunning setting of Compton Verney in Warwickshire. I always enjoying shooting bridal preps and I’m usually afforded enough time to look for some creative frames.
Photo by Rob Sanderson Photography – I’ a sucker for a dramatic looking church and this one was stunning. I wanted to take a dramatic picture of the bride and groom that conveyed the size and scale of their church. Just before they walked down the aisle together they shared this ‘look’, it just makes the picture.
Cat and Andy
Photo by James Tracey Photography – Cat and Andy had their wedding at West Tower in Lancashire on a beautiful day. As the sun set we were treated to a stunning sky and I grabbed Cat and Andy to make sure made the most of the epic sky.
Bath Assembly Rooms
Photo by Mark Leonard Photography – I’ve photographed at the Bath Assembly Rooms on a number of occasions but this was the first opportunity I’d had to make the most of those beautiful chaneliers.
Jack and Maddy
Photo by Tim Simpson Photography – These were a really fun couple in one of our favourite venues Upwaltham Barns. we have shot there many times so I’m always trying to think of new things to do. Its quite a simple shot but it takes a bride and groom who get what you do to pull it off properly.
She walks in beauty
Photo by Marco Vegni Fotografia – She walks in beauty…a beautiful Bride walk in Tuscan Countryside with elegance and love.
Photo by Nabisphotographers/ Chiara Ridolfi – It had been raining a lot…at a certain point sun came out into the clouds.
I started shooting some portraits to the couple and I saw their reflex in the water. I loved their profile while they were kissing and looking each other. The photo was taken nearby Rome in Grottaferrata during the reception.
Photo by Benjamin Stuart Photography – This photo was taken at the wedding of Kim & Jamie in August in the lane behind Lillibrooke Manor in Berkshire. The smoke flair was given to the couple by the best man during his speech with the intention to light it then. As the reception was in the barn at Lillibrooke Manor we thought it best to do it outside and this photo was captured. One of my favourites from this year.
A hug with a view
Photo by Sam Gibson Photography – Alison and Tom got married in the middle of the Welsh countryside and this was taken during one of our little portrait sessions. No need for showy posing, just a very natural moment to take it all in and appreciate the beauty around them and the amazing day they were having.
Family of 4
Photo by ER Photography – Rowena & Ed love their pet whippets and couldn’t think of a shot they wanted more than this shot with the venue in the background. The dogs are only 2 years old so still babies and they did so well considering they were a little freaked out by Rowena’s huge dress. We love this shot and it shoes they love they have for each other and their pets.
Taking a Moment Together
Photo by Andrew Billington Photography – This is portrait taken at Walcot Hall in Shropshire at the beginning of October. Amy and Matt had a fun packed wedding day but we took ten minutes to capture some portraits using my usual method of ‘Find some gorgeous light and be in it’. No posing required.
Sid… waiting for his bride-to-be
Photo by Ed Godden Photography – I’m a huge fan of crying (happy tears!) shots. And as soon as I spotted this groom (Sid) welling up as his bride was about to enter the ceremony room, I was straight in there with my camera.
Photo by Matt Selby Photography – Taken in Morley Hayes, Derbyshire. Literally rushed the bride and groom outside after the speeches to get the last bit of sunset. I had them stand on top of a hill and voila!
Emma & Rob
Photo by Randolph Wilcox Photography – This photo was taken in the ballroom of The Richmond Hill Hotel. I loved the fairylights on the pillars around the room and wanted to make use of them, and the way Emma and Rob are looking at each other, well, it’s so romantic.
Love You to the Moon and Back
Photo by Fiona Walsh Photography – This was an incredible elopement on Dartmoor. We had a 5 hour shoot on the beautiful landscape and were so lucky with the weather. We were finishing up our shoot, walking to the car when we spotted the moon on the hill! We ran up there so excited to take some photos!
Kiss to you all
Photo by Pedro Filipe Fotografia – This photo was taken during a funny moment. The bride and groom were so happy and in love… Nothing more matters to them.
Photo by Eneka Stewart Photography – The couple made most of their venue by decorating it with lots of fairy lights and personalised wedding pieces. Lulworth Castle is my new favourite venue as it truly offers unique setting for a wedding.
Photo by LUISA RAIMONDI PHOTOGRAPHER – I’m based in Northern Italy, where we have wonderful lakes, like this one. Alice and Federico chose an amazing location on Maggiore Lake, and asked me to take them a photo with their beloved lake on the background.
Belle Epoque Wedding Photography
Photo by Daniel Lloyd Photography – The beautiful wedding of Laura and Sean at the stunning Belle Epoque in Knutsford, Cheshire.
We had been out earlier in the afternoon for some shots in the village, however the rain cut that a little short. After the wedding breakfast the rain cleared handmade way for this stunning pink sky. Couldn’t believe my luck!
Tossing the Bouquet
Photo by Aaron Storry – One of my lovely brides wanted a bouquet shot with a difference, and conveniently all of her bridesmaids were not married off so we decided to make it an extra special picture featuring all of her friends. We had the one chance to get it right so positioning was very critical to executing this beautiful moment. We found some yummy light with a neutral green backdrop and set the image up. This is one of about 10 frames that where shot in all burst mode on my Canon 5D3. The planets aligned perfectly and this is the resulting picture. The image was taken at Quinton House in Northamptonshire.
Love is in the air
Photo by Jordi Tudela – This photo was taken in Masia Can Ramoneda (Rubí). Silvia + Cristian Wedding.
