We feature a lovely styled shoot at Morden Hall in South London, the day was captured by Eva Tarnok.
About the day and how it went
The day of the shoot was very intense, with 10 people on location from 9AM till 6PM. A lot of suppliers were involved and they all wanted specific shots of their products, so we had a long shot list to go through. I was lucky to have a very experienced stylist on board, Andri Benson who really held the team together. We had professional models for the shoot who really enjoyed being in front of the camera and it was lovely to work with them. The day went really well, although even after two months of planning we still had unexpected problems, like the suit for our male model was too small so we had to rush to buy a new suit for him.
I am a busy mother of three children living in Wimbledon. I started out as a family photographer in 2012, however apart from families and children I have also worked with dancers and other artists. A year later I was asked to photograph a wedding which I was slightly reluctant to do. As it turned out, I absolutely loved the day. I loved the build-up, the excitement, the emotions of the day; and it was really lovely to experience this and capture it all. I am still photographing families and children, however my main focus now is wedding photography.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is creative, soulful and natural. I love capturing emotion and all the little details which make a couple and a wedding unique. I also have an eye for beauty, and like to find beauty in everyone and everything I photograph.
What did you love about the day?
Everything! The location, the people, the buzz, working in this fantastic team and being able to let my creativity go wild. It was such a special day!
