Today we share a lovely Engagement Shoot from Limousin, France. The day was captured by Nick Rutter Photography.
Tom and Clare live and work at Clare’s nan’s rural holiday retreat set on a18th century farm in Limousin near Limoges in France called Le Penaud Gite. It is a fantastic rustic and rural site, in and around quintessential France. They work there throughout Spring and Summer and thought it would be a fantastic location for a destination engagement shoot before they come back to England to work and plan their Wedding.
I love to do destination engagement shoots, it opens up so many more creative opportunities as well as doing something different from what some may call the norm, but also, very importantly, it means I get to spend time with my clients and we had 3 days together which was fantastic and what a lovely couple Tom and Clare are. We had a great time! Lots of french foody delights, wine and visiting quintessential french villages as well as utilising Tom and Clare’s home with the rustic and rural farm houses. Not to mention spending time with their crazy dog Jester.
We visited a number of villages and other pretty places around Limoges and the Limousin region such as Segur le Chateau, Chateau de Jumilhac in the Dordogne, Limoges and St-Yrieix-la-Perche.
Tom and Clare are marrying at Highcliffe Castle in September 2016. If you get a chance please do visit their Facebook page for the Holiday retreat with an amazing modern farm house and pool. A great place for a family to just relax for a week.
