Laura & Toni’s Wedding in Gijón

// Published by Sam, Editor - December 9, 2014

Today we have the pleasure of sharing the wedding of Laura & Toni which took place in Gijón, the day was captured by International wedding photographer Sergio Cueto.

Laura the bride tells us about the day… “Our wedding was prepared with much care and detail. We like details and surprises very much, so we wanted something special.”

“The chosen place was Gijón, Toni’s hometown. It has the perfect scene: beautiful views, nature, the ocean and the perfect wedding palace. The “Palacio de la Concepción”.”

“The first time I heard about Sergio Cueto was at my ballet clases. One of my classmates just got married and she shared a photo slide of her wedding with us. I suddenly felt in love with her photographic report and I decided that Sergio would be the perfect photographer of our wedding.”

“We organiced a pre-wedding typical “Espicha” for those who where already in town the night before (this was a good idea for people to meet each other before the wedding and for us to see our families and friends in a relaxing atmosphere). We selected the music for every special moment, we prepared our own signature book with pictures form our pre-wedding report, we designed our own photocall simulating a film premiere with us as the main actors, and our guests as the cast. We also gave pashminas for the ladies and purses for the gentlemen as a present. Everything had been carefully planned with the aim of personalising our day.”

“I wanted to honuor my father, who had passed away three months before our wedding, so I attached a small portrait with a picture of him to my wedding bouquet so that he would be with me during the ceremony. This was very emotive…”

“The best moment of the day was during the traditional vals. Toni prepared a beautiful surprise… Fireworks!!”

“Everyone was astonish with such view… it was a magical moment! I will never forget how amazing was to see the eternal smile of family and friends through the day, it was a unique feeling.”
