Each month we round up our favourite wedding photos, this is our first month and we were overwhelmed with how many photos got sent in, from hundreds we have narrowed it down to 20 photos that caught our eye. There were no specific requirements or things we were looking for, just photos that caught our eye and made us smile.
So here is our July collection.

Every once in a while a couple comes that leaves and breathes in the world of the camera. That are familiar with the idea that the lens is not only a means of capturing reality but also a means of creating it. Katie and Scott’s Wedding has presented us with this opportunity to play with our imagination, the couple’s innate glam and all that Hollywood Jazz. Renting an old vespa for the wedding day which gave us the romantic touch of old Italian films of the 60’s. Photos taken in Santorini July 2015 in the Village of Megalochori
This photo was taken on Godrevy Beach, Cornwall. Christine & Bouke had a dutch themed wedding at the beautiful Lanyon House and Cottages near Hayle. They were a lovely fun couple to work with and I really like the results, completely natural images reflecting the fun and joy of the day and the special bond they have.

The photo was taken in Selce, Croatia. It was an early spring wedding, still a bit chilly, but the beaches were empty and the scenery was fantastic! This lovely couple enjoyed every second of their photo session. Their names are Tina and Bruno.

I brought my clients Cherish & Greg deep into the Leicestershire countryside to my top secret sunset location. It’s a bit of a hike to get there but I’m sure you’ll agree it was well worth it.
Photo by Dominika Miechowska Photography – Picture taken in Wandsworth town Hall. I found a gap in the stairs railing.
Photo by Dream Inspire Images – Darren & Becky at the beautiful Freirn Manor, Dunton, Essex.

This photo was taken in the car park at Summer Lodge in Dorset. I noticed this bright red hedge whilst I was parking my car and later when I took the couple for some portraits I knew that I wanted to use the hedge as a backdrop. It was a windy day and the veil was flying around like crazy but the couple stayed beautifully still, enjoying each others company.

Photo by John Hope – Elise & Michael at Healey Barn in Northumberland

This photo was taken at South Farm in Cambridge – it was one of the last shots of the day, one of my first ever off camera flash shots, i thinks its awesome and the couple love it too.
This was one amazing wedding adventure. All the guests were invited to hike across the Dorset Jurassic coastline to the very unique chapel at St Aldhelm’s Head.

Wedding photography outside , photographed in the state of Minas Gerais – Brazil . The photo had its moments of tension due to fear of the bride who could not swim.
Photo by Rob Grimes Photography – Taken in July at a wedding in Norfolk at High House Farm at a festival styled wedding.

The view looking into the Orangery from outside at Barton Hall in Kettering was amazing. So I took the risk of getting the first kiss shot from outside the venue. It really paid off with the light and the framing of the door really emphasising Chris and Becca during this key moment.

This was taken during Misha and Liam’s wedding ceremony at Kilver Court Gardens in Somerset – a beautiful venue with stunning gardens centred around a lovely lake. I really like the naturalness of the moment and Misha’s expression.

Philip & Cecilia’s awesome Liverpool wedding. They incorporated some lovely Chinese traditions into their wedding including Tea Ceremonies and Games in the morning. We also got to spend a good hour with the couple round the centre of Liverpool to get some creative couples shots. These two are really into photography and it was so nice to get really stuck in to the couples portraits with similar minded people. The pair are super lovely, as are their families and friends, and they weren’t afraid of having a good time!
The venue was the amazingly stunning Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool which is just a photographer’s dream.

I always like to spend a little time during the wedding day on creative portraits. This image of Ellie was shot on her wedding day in June. Ellie & Tom were married in Shamley Green before heading to Tom’s parents, just down the road, for their wedding reception. After the wedding breakfast we walked out into the adjacent field to take advantage of the evening light. This simple portrait was one of my favourites.

Two plus one … three, Emma. One equals two … Mary & Grego … Sunflower … two twos together as special dates in their lives, signals a destination we had to reflect. Madrid, Spain.

This image was taken on a balcony just above the ceremony. I managed to capture the moment when the Bride (Anneliese) showed off her ring to her family with her husband Chris looking on. It was taken at Middleton Grammar School.
