Jessica & Federico’s Wedding Day

Today we feature a lovely wedding captured by the talented Ariel Novak. A wedding photographer based in Argentina captured the spacial day of Jessica and Federico.

About the couple
Well, Federico Is Argentine living in Panama. He contacted me about two weeks or so before the wedding, telling me he was going marry Jessica, his Venezuelan fiancé here in Buenos Aires. They liked my work and luckily I was free for that date. They came to Buenos Aires a few days later, we met and “clicked” immediately. It was a real pleasure working with them.

The day and how it went
It was a beautiful day in autumn of 2014. The day started early in the morning in the hotel with the getting ready. After that we went to church for the ceremony and from there to the garden were the reception and the party took place. It was a beautiful setting with lots of green. We were accompanied by excellent weather. I’ve enjoyed the day a lot.

Photography style
I guess that the way I see it is photojournalism with an artistic touch. I like to tell the story as is. I try to give the bride and groom the perspective of someone who witnessed the whole day from the side. Then in post production I go through each and every photo to give it my own personal touch.

What did you love about the day?
I’m a big winter and autumn lover. In my opinion, the world is much more beautiful at this time of the year and I was very lucky to have such a beautiful venue and be able to work during the day (most weddings here take place at night). I also really enjoyed being with this great couple. Both are excellent individuals and it was a pleasure to be there for them.
