I’m delighted to share this lovely French Riviera Wedding captured by doctibphoto.com.
The story from the Bride
We met ten years ago in my horse club. It was instantly hooked. Meet the man of her life when you are 13-years-old teenager is rather unusual. Due to our difference of age we went our own way for few years. For my 18th birthday, Julien came back to me, telling me I was the woman of his life. Since then we share every day of our life together, hand in hand and are deeply in love.
To realise our love and because we did not imagine our lives without each other, Julien asked me to marry him in the lovely Vondelpark in Amsterdam. He made his request on his knees on a bridge in front of a magnificent fountain. The place and time were perfect. I of course said YES!
This was followed by a wonderful year of preparations, filled with love and emotions. There was the announcement of our engagement at Christmas, visiting our venue place, trying our outfits for the big day… We felt surrounded and loved more than ever. For the atmosphere of our wedding, all decisions were taken by mutual agreement. Julien was invested at 200% in this beautiful adventure. We wanted the wedding to be in our image: romantic but simple, full of emotion and full of humor!
The D-Day happened in a total relaxation. We were confident. Groomsmen, Bridesmaid and families accompanied us to ensure we have the best day of our lives. Surprises have punctuated the day such as we arrived at the church horse carriage, to symbolize our meeting. Today we have wonderful memories and timeless pictures from Thiebauld of Doctib Photo :).
Do tell us a little bit about yourself
Father of a princess and lover of nature, mother earth and every little living creatures (and bigger ones).
I love people, culture, travel and I love love. I snap those details in my pictures. After few years of photography I covered a friend wedding. That was so exciting, intense and fun that I had to do others.
How would you describe your photography style?
It’s all about people, who they are, how they love. They are the heroes of that day and my pictures must show how amazing they are. So as to create timeless memories I try to balance between simple, natural, elegant emotions and creative pictures. Thus creating for the couple pictures that just show them as they are, and pictures that they haven’t seen to other wedding.
Crafting memories requires 200% focus on them, the guest, light, everything.
But that’s what make wedding storytelling so interessting!
What did you love about the day?
I love the couple, they are gorgeous and deeply in love, pure kindness.
On the other hand they are fun, did agree for every photo idea I had.
The place, the olive trees, the guest, bridesmaid and groomsmen, everything was perfect.
And that’s what make me enjoy so much weddings, a mix of love and fun.
